Thinkers
Everybody likes to think, right? Here's some things to entertain your thinking brain...just don't think too much.
• I just got skylights put in my place. The people who live above me are furious.
• Isn't Disney World a people trap run by a mouse?
• Why do banks charge you a "non-sufficient funds fee" when they already know you don't have any?
• Why do they call it the Department of Interior when they are in charge of everything outdoors?
• Why does lemon juice contain "artificial ingredients" but dishwashing liquid contains "real lemons"?
• I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
George Carlin quotes next if you click here:
And here are some random quotes from the mind of George Carlin:
"Cloud nine gets all the publicity, but cloud eight actually is cheaper, less crowded, and has a better view."
"I heard that Domino’s Pizza trucks have killed more than 20 people. And that’s not counting the ones who eat the pizza."
"As a matter of principle, I never attend the first annual anything."
"I worry about my judgement when anything I believe in or do regularly begins to be accepted by the American public."
"I think they should lower the drinking age. I just want to see a sign in a bar that says, You Must Be 11 and Prove It."

Geekin it...
Hello hello... After almost tumbling into a pile of exhaustion, never to recover, I've finally spent some quality time with my pillow and am settling into this western life again. I'm planning some changes to my place on the web (Tommy's Town, TheOtherSide, and here), you know, make it more professional and the like... Not that anyone actually reads this nonsense, but someday...someday... Do you think blogs are terribly vain excersises for geeks who can't get people to listen to them in person they have to write to millions of potential readers in hope that even one or two will take interest? Regardless of what you (is anybody out there?) think, I'm geekin' it for a bit and you'll see some changes here hopefully before my brain fuse blows itself out in a big cloud of puffy blue smoke. Good luck to me!

Back Home?
Wherever that is these days... My plane arrived in San Francisco at 4:20pm in the afternoon but my mind felt as if it was 7:20am and I haven't slept much in the last week. It feels good to be back on the west coast of the good ol' USofA. It feels good to see the sky shine a true Californian blue, smell the fresh ocean sea breeze coming off the bay, and to not have Tuk-Tuk drivers yell at me as I sweat my way down the sidewalk even after the sun is long gone and the rain is about to shower me in acid from Bangkok's scary skies. Regardless of acid rain (that I probably just imagined), already I truely miss so many things about the wonderful country Thailand is and it's going to take some time to get used to being home again.
It's been easy so far. I'm staying the night with a friend in SF and then heading up to Nevada County on Wednesday morning. There are so many friends I want to see there, but time is limited. I have to be up in Eugene, Oregon for my sister's graduation in a matter of days, so only one night will be had with you folk, spent with as many of you are around. I'll be back in a month or two for some more quality time. Anyway, I'll call as many of you as I can and look forward to seeing all in due time.
Thanks to everyone I know for everything they do everyday of their lives...really. Does that sound good? It's true.
