Power of Pilgrimage

Here at CLEU, we like cyclic rhythms, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or annually. At this time of year, we make our annual pilgrimage to the Black Rock desert of Nevada. We all enjoy the excitement of reconnecting with family and friends as we prepare for another year of Cleu camp.

Setting aside one day in seven is our way of tempering the effects of “civilization,”  and reclaiming our humanity.  We use this day to reflect on the miracle of our Exist­ence and to be fully present.  We forgo any obligations or responsibilities, and allow the day to unfold moment by moment.
